Theft – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a theft. Upon arrival, officers noticed an individual whose physical features and apparel matched the reported description. The suspect had become nervous and agitated; therefore the officers placed the suspect in handcuffs. After further investigation, the officers arrested the suspect for being in possession of stolen property. Some of the stolen properties that were located were also from an auto boost that occurred in Lafayette, Ca. The suspect was arrested for three counts of possession of stolen property.

Officers responded to a report of an assault. The officers made contact with the victim upon arrival. The victim stated that he was exiting the Muni when the suspect punched him before fleeing the area on foot. The victim had no acquaintance with the suspect, but believed that he would be able to recognize the suspect if he saw him again. The officers searched the area with the victim for the suspect but were met with negative results.
