Stay Away Order – Arrested

Officers responded to a stay away order violation. The report stated that the subject kept entering and exiting a store while yelling, screaming and displaying symptoms of intoxication. As the suspect had a history of similar incidents and had collected multiple stay away orders from various businesses along Irving St., the suspect was arrested.
Burglary – Arrested

Majestic Ave & Lakeview Ave
Officers responded to a report of a person hitting passing cars while standing in the middle of an intersection. Responding officers were unable to locate the suspect at the reported location and had to patrol further south before locating the suspect. At that point, the officers observed the suspect attempting to break into a vehicle while using burglary tools. The suspect resisted arrest and physical force was necessary to complete his arrest.
DUI – Arrested

2400 37th Ave
Officers responded to a report of an accident in which an ambulance had run into the front of a house. Responding officers located the disoriented looking suspect sitting in the driver’s side of an ambulance. As the officers approached, the suspect lunged erratically out of the vehicle and aggressively pursued the officers. Unable to avoid a confrontation, an officer had to wrestle the suspect onto the ground before being able to handcuff the suspect. Once contained, the suspect was sent to the hospital for treatment. After the suspect was cleared by medical staff, he refused to corporate with the officers while denying that he had driven any type of vehicle that evening. A warrant was issued to draw blood from the suspect and after further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
Robbery – Arrested

Winston Dr & 20th Ave
Officers responded to a report of robbery with a gun. Mall security stated they had been tracking the suspect on surveillance cameras and officers were able to locate the suspect in a garage with their help. The officers searched the suspect but did not find any weapons but they located multiple items of stolen merchandise from numerous stores in the shopping mall. A computer check on the suspect revealed that he was on felony probation for Grand Theft. The suspect was arrested.
Child Abuse – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of child abuse. Upon arrival, officers met with a Child Welfare Worker who reported the victim came to school with a bruised eye. The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital as officers investigated the incident. After further investigation, officers arrested the suspect.
Battery

Vicente St & 22nd Ave
Officers responded to a report of battery. The victim stated he was walking on the street when he noticed the suspect gardening. The suspect confronted the victim, stating he did not want the victim near his home and shoved the victim away, which caused the victim to fall onto the ground. When officers spoke to the suspect, the suspect stated the victim has mental health problems. After further investigation, it was discovered that the victim had a criminal history of assaulting the neighborhood’s residents and had a collection of multiple stay away and protection orders from various people in the Taraval District. The victim refused to press charged and the suspect was not cited.

Officers responded to a report of battery. The victim was walking pass the suspect on the stairway of her building when the suspect bumped into the victim with her body. The victim was afraid of the suspect’s hostile behavior and reported the incident to the police.
