Vehicle Violation – No Driver’s License issued – Cited

19th Ave & Junipero Serra Blvd
An officer was on patrol when he observed a vehicle in a lane of traffic that was not moving. The officer approached the driver and found him asleep behind the wheel while the vehicle was still running. Officer conducted a computer check on the driver and determined that the driver did not have a valid California driver’s license. The driver was cited.

Driving while under the influence of Alcohol – Arrested

1500 Kirkham St
Officers were on patrol when they observed a parked vehicle that was partially blocking the street. Officers approached the vehicle and observed that the driver was passed out. Officers woke the driver up and after a brief conversation, the driver admitted to be intoxicated. The driver stated that he had a few drinks at a local bar and he should not have been driving. After further investigation, the driver was arrested.

Assault

An officer responded to the hospital regarding an assault. The victim told the officer that he was walking by a house when the suspect attacked him from behind. The victim said that he was pushed from behind and stuck on the head. The victim told the officer that he knew the suspect.

Stolen Vehicle – Arrested

200 Lakeview Ave
Officers were on patrol when they observed a suspicious vehicle that was parked in front of the area. The officers conducted a computer check via dispatch and were informed that the vehicle had been stolen. Officers detained the driver and passenger of the vehicle for questioning. After further investigation, the driver was arrested for possession of the stolen vehicle and the passenger released.

Robbery

Winston Ave & Buckingham Way
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim told the officers that two suspects approached her and started punching her before pushing her onto the ground. The suspects then took the victim’s cell phone and wallet and fled towards an apartment complex.

Battery
7:37 pm
2200 Irving St
Officer responded to a report of a battery. The victim stated that she was at the laundromat when the suspect approached her and punched her twice on her shoulder before fleeing the building.
