Officers responded to a report of a male and female in a physical altercation inside of a vehicle. The victim stated she was having a conversation with the suspect in his vehicle when the conversation escalated to a verbal argument. A witness stated the suspect shoved the victim and the victim hit the suspect multiple times in response. The victim and suspect stated the conversation involved their relationship and that there was no malicious intent in the striking or pushing at each other. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Burglary – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a suspect breaking into a vehicle. The victim stated he returned to his car with a broken passenger side window. The victim saw a man sitting on steps nearby his vehicle while going through the victim’s belongings. Responding officers located and detained the suspect. Officers conducted a search on the suspect and located a burglary tool commonly used to break into vehicles. Officers also found broken pieces of glass inside the suspect’s pockets. A records check revealed that the suspect was on probation. The suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a threat. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the victim who stated the suspect called her house phone to tell her he was going to hurt the victim’s son. The victim stated she has already filed restraining order paperwork against the suspect.

Assault

Brotherhood Way & Arch St
Officers responded to a report of a possible fight. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the victim who is an off duty Sheriff’s Deputy. The victim stated he was involved in a traffic collision with the suspect. The victim and the suspect pulled into a parking lot to exchange information but the suspect did not have his insurance with him. The victim called the police which caused the suspect to locked his vehicle and flee on foot. The victim followed the suspect and the suspect attempted to punch the victim.
