Warrant Arrest – Resisting Arrest – Arrested

2400 Great Hwy
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person acting erratically. The officers made contact with the suspect and a computer check revealed that he had an active warrant for his arrest. Officers advised the suspect that he was being arrested for an active warrant. At which time, the suspect went limp, refused to move and would not listen to a lawful orders. Officers arrested the suspect and added an additional charge of resisting arrest. The suspect was arrested.

Assault – Elder Abuse – Arrested

Officers responded to a well being check. The caller wanted officers to check on the victim, a 93 year old female who was having issues with her son. Officers made contact with the victim who reported that the suspect had hit her on top of her head. The victim told the officer of other abuse that the suspect had inflicted on her. During the interview with the victim, the suspect returned home. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of loss prevention detaining a shoplifting suspect. Loss Prevention told the officers that he saw the suspect select multiple items, place them into a shopping basket and walk out of the store without paying for the items. Officers investigated the incident and cited the suspect.

Battery – Cited

3200 20th Ave
Officers responded to a report of battery. The victim told the officers she went to the mall with her friend so that her friend’s ex-boyfriend, the suspect, could return some items. The victim told the officers that when the suspect arrived, he put his arm around the neck of the victim and pushed her onto the ground. The suspect then spit at the victim and left the area. Officers located the suspect and cited him.

Vehicle Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

19th Ave & Denslowe Dr
Officers were conducting LIDAR Speed enforcement. Officer noticed a vehicle that was traveling 57 mph in a 35 mph zone. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The officers cited the driver.

Battery
11:14 am
00 Minerva St
Officers responded to a domestic incident. The victim, who was observed to be highly intoxicated, told the officers that she was having an argument with the suspect before the suspect then shoved her onto the ground. The suspect fled the scene prior to the officers’ arrival.

Warrant Arrest – Arrested

19th Ave & Randolph St
Officer responded to a report of a possible domestic violence incident. Officers located the couple who told them that there was no violence involved. A computer check revealed that one of the couple had an active warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.
