Battery – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of domestic violence. The victim stated that the suspect invited her over to his house. When she arrived, they started a conversation but when the victim refused to continue talking to the suspect, the suspect became upset. The victim stated the suspect threw his phone, punched a box of belongings, and then punched the victim in the back of her head. The suspect was arrested.

Domestic Violence – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of domestic violence. The victim stated she and the suspect were arguing about their divorce and she was in the process of moving out of the house. When the suspect arrived home, she and the suspect began arguing over their taxes and the suspect became upset. The victim stated she went to pack her belongings when the suspect grabbed her shoulder with his right hand while holding a glass pint cup in his left hand. In self-defense, the victim bit the suspect’s right arm and the suspect smashed the glass cup over the victim’s head from behind. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Traffic Violation – No License

Officers were conducting traffic enforcement in the area of 19th avenue and Sloat when they observed a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed. Using a speed measuring tool, officers were able to read the vehicle driving at 50 mph. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and the suspect stated she did not yet have a license. She also stated she did not have car insurance and the car did not belong to her. The registration on the car was also expired. Due to the suspect being a juvenile, her mother was called to take custody of her and she was cited.

Officers were conducting traffic enforcement on 19th avenue when they stopped a vehicle for driving over the speed limit. A records check on the suspect revealed an outstanding warrant. The suspect was cited for the traffic stop and arrested for the warrant.

Loitering – Arrested

100 Terrace Dr
Officers responded to a report of an unknown subject sitting on the front porch of the caller’s property. Upon arrival, officers observed the suspect laying down on the front porch. The suspect stated he was resting his legs. The victim pressed charges against the suspect for unlawfully being on his property. The suspect was arrested.

Burglary

14th Ave & Wawona St
Officers responded to a report of burglary. The victim stated while he was returning home, he noticed his front gate was open and that the front door frame was broken while unfamiliar noises issued from inside the house. The victim stated the suspect kicked open the front gate, ran past him and fled onto a black vehicle.
