Warrant Arrest – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a juvenile, possibly still in the area, that had run away from a group home located in the South Bay Area. Officers search the area and located the juvenile. After speaking to his probation officer the officers learn that the juvenile had a warrant for his arrest. The juvenile was arrested.

Shoplifting – Warrant Arrest – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter. Loss prevention officers detained a suspect who had stolen food items. A computer check on the suspect revealed that he had a several outstanding warrants. The suspect was arrested.

Vehicle Violation – No Driver’s License Issued – Cited

Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle failing to make a complete stop at a stop sign. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that he was never issued a license. The driver was cited.

Arrest Warrant – Arrested

200 Broad St
Officers were on patrol when they observed a suspect dirking beer in public. A computer check on the suspect revealed that he had an active warrant for his arrest. The suspect arrested for the warrant.

Vehicle Violation – No Driver’s License Issued – Cited

19th Ave & Kirkham St
Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle making an illegal left turn at the intersection. Officer conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that he was never issued a license. The driver was cited.

Warrant Arrest – Carrying Concealed Weapon – Arrested

700 Taraval St
Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter being detained by loss prevention. A computer check on the suspect revealed an active warrant for his arrest. Officers conducted a search of the suspect and found a fix blade, four inch dagger like knife which was hidden in the suspect’s jacket but within easy reach. The suspect was arrested for the warrants and weapons.

Battery

46th Ave & Taraval St
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim, a UPS delivery person, told the officers that he was delivering a package to an apartment building. He was unable to get an answer to the door so he buzzed a different apartment so he could gain entry to drop of the package. The victim said that someone buzzed him in and he went and dropped of the package. While doing so, the suspect came down stairs and complained that the victim rang the doorbell. They got into an argument and the suspect pushed the victim before walking back inside. The suspect told the officer a different version of the story. Due to the lack of witnesses, a report was made and the inspector will follow up on the investigation.
