Theft – Shoplifting – Cited

20th Ave & Winston Dr
Officers responded to a shoplifter being detained by the store employees. Upon arrival, responding officers met with the department’s Asset Protection employee. The employee explained that the Asset Protection office had maintained surveillance on the suspect while the suspect took several store items and brought them into the children’s fitting room. The suspect exited the fitting room without any visible items in their hands and proceeded to exit the store. The suspect was detained by the department’s Asset Protection until responding officers investigated the incident; the suspect was cited.

Restraining Order Violation – Arrested

Officers responded to a report regarding a restraining order violation. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the victim who stated that her grandson had an active restraining order filed against him but he was standing in front of her house. Officers arrested the suspect in violation of his restraining order.

Robbery with Gun – Arrested

200 Arballo Dr
Officers responded to a report regarding a robbery. The victim stated she was walking on the sidewalk when a white vehicle stopped on the road way. An unknown male exited the front passenger door suddenly and walked up to the victim. The suspect produced a silver handgun with his left hand and pointed it at the victim and removed the victim’s purse from her shoulder. The victim ran northbound, away from the suspects, and reported the incident to the police. Another report revealed a pursuit involving a vehicle matching the description of the suspect from another city. The suspect was arrested and the victim’s items were returned.

200 Bright St
Officers responded to a report regarding a vehicle collision with injuries. Upon arrival, officers met with the victim who stated he saw a male and a female arguing. The female suddenly turned away from the male and sprinted into the street. The victim stated he slammed the brakes but still struck the female. The male, who is the female’s husband, became angry and began throwing punches at the victim before fleeing the scene. The female was transported to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment.

Harassment

Officers responded to a report concerning threatening messages. The victim stated she was involved in an altercation and was receiving threatening text messages from her former friends. The victim stated that the suspects knocked on her door to pursue $15.00 that the victim owed them. The victim was involved in an argument with the suspects and as the victim was closing the door, the suspect struck the victim once on the chin with the heel of her hand. The victim is currently pursuing criminal charges for the threatening messages and battery.

Officers responded to a report of a physical altercation. Upon arrival, the victim stated her husband and her son were in a physical argument over money. The victim stated her son was distraught over being involved in an incident with the neighbor earlier and their son also wanted some money that was allegedly owed to him. The victim stated the argument between her husband and their son became physical at the door; the son punched the victim’s husband on the nose. No charges were pressed.

Officers responded to a report of an attempted carjacking. Upon arrival, officers met with the suspect who stated he was driving when a dark colored motorcycle drove up to the window on the driver’s side. The victim stated the suspect pointed a gun in his direction and told him to “come here.” The victim sped away from the suspect and was not pursued.

Officers responded to a report of a robbery with a gun. The victim stated she and three friends just got to their car after attending a concert. The victim stated she observed a white vehicle stop nearby and two males got out of the car and pulled out a small handgun before proceeding to rob the victim and her friends of their cellphones, cash, and car keys before fleeing the scene.
