Warrant – Arrested

3700 Kirkham
Officers responded to report, made by a neighbor, regarding a burglary in progress. The neighbor stated he observed a U-Haul van backed up into his neighbor’s garage door and also observed suspects entering the garage. While responding officers found that no items were stolen and that the suspects were friends of the inhabitant; a records check on the suspects revealed two of the suspects had warrants and they were arrested.

False Vehicle Registration

Officers were on patrol when they observed a suspicious vehicle parked in front of the area. A computer check on the vehicle revealed that the registration had been expired since 2015 but the vehicle was displaying a current registration. The vehicle was issued a citation and towed.

Warrant Arrest – Arrested

Lincoln Way & 9th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a possible suicidal incident. Responding officers spoke to the suspect and were told that that the suspect felt suicidal while a computer check on the suspect revealed he had a warrant for his arrest. Officers took the suspect to get the medical help necessary for his situation and then be arrested for his warrant.

Officers responded on a report of a trespasser. The officers arrived on scene and located the suspect matching the description given by the witness. The suspect told the officers that he was lost in the area and was just trying to go back downtown. A computer check on the suspect revealed that he had a warrant for his arrest for trespassing. The suspect was arrested.

Stolen Vehicle – Possession of stolen property- Vehicle Violation – Cited

100 Winston Dr
Officers responded to a report of a vehicle collision. The witness told the officers that he met the suspect because he wanted to purchase his vehicle. The witness had the suspect to follow him to AAA to get the paperwork processed but while on the way, the suspect rear ended the witness’s vehicle. A computer check on the suspect’s vehicle revealed that it was reported as a stolen rental vehicle. The suspect told the officers that he had purchased the vehicle a few weeks ago for $500.00 and he wanted to sell it to get money for school. The suspect was a juvenile. He was cited and released to the juvenile’s guardian.

Our investigation team identified a suspect who was involved in an assault in an earlier incident and obtained information on the suspect’s residence. The suspect was located in Burlingame and was arrested.
