Shoplifting – Warrant Arrest – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter being detained by loss prevention. Loss prevention observed the suspect select multiple bottles of alcohol, several knives and placed them into the suspect’s pocket. The suspect then walked out of the store. A computer check on the suspect revealed that he had a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a domestic violence incident. The victim told the officers that he went drinking with the suspect but the two of them started arguing. It was reported that the suspect threw a suite case at the victim and told her to pack up and leave. The suspect then punched her on the stomach. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Battery

400 Lakeview Ave
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim told the officer that the suspect, her daughter, had hit her. The suspect fled the scene prior the officer’s arrival. Officers obtained an emergency protection order.

Trespassing – Possession of Burglary Tools – Cited

Officers responded to a report of a trespasser. The victim told the officers that he is selling the house and when he walked inside the house, he saw someone sleeping on the floor.  After waking up the suspect, responding officers located a flat bar and lock picking keys on the suspect after a search. The suspect was cited.

Defrauding a Taxi Driver

The victim reported a theft at Taraval Station. The victim, a taxi driver, told the officer that he had given a passenger a ride but the passenger did not have money to pay for the services. The victim said that he met up with the passenger again in hopes that he would get paid. However, the suspect was unable to withdraw money from ATM and then fled the area.

Battery

3900 Judah St
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim told the officers that he was sitting at the table, waiting for food, when the suspect approached him and stood very close by him before challenging the victim to a fight. The victim then attempted to strike the victim and the victim struck back in self defense. Both parties did not want to file charges.

Assault with a Gun – Possession of firearm – Traffic Collision – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of shots fired. Responding officers located a vehicle that had been shot at and crashed into the medium. A witness pointed to a passenger that had gotten out of the vehicle and was walking down the street. Officers detained the passenger was were told that while she was in the passenger seat, she did not know who the driver was. Officers also located the victim who had been shot and determined that the victim and passenger were in the vehicle when the suspect shot at them. Officers searched the victim vehicle and located a fire arm inside. The victim was transported to SFGH. Once cleared by medical staff, the victim of this incident will be charged with possession of a firearm.
