Battery

Victoria St & Randolph St
Officers responded to a report regarding a family dispute. The victim stated her son wanted to go out but she refused his request which upset him and he was verbally aggressive towards her. The victim’s daughter intervened and demanded that her brother be “more respectful” to their mother. This caused another altercation and the mother used pepper spray on her son. No charges were pressed.

Battery – Juvenile

Officers responded to a report regarding a sexual battery investigation. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the vice principal of the school who stated one of his teachers was inappropriately touched by a student. The teacher did not want to press charges.

Trespassing – Arrested

Officers responded to a report regarding a trespasser. Upon arrival, officers met with the victim who stated the suspect, his ex-girlfriend, had broken into the garage. The victim stated the suspect was arrested before and had a restraining order was placed against the suspect. Officers located the suspect approximately one block away from the reported the location. In violation of her restraining order, the suspect was arrested.

Officers were on patrol when they were flagged down by grocery store employees. Officers observed the two employees with a man identified as the suspect. The employees stated they observed the suspect try to steal toothpaste but the employees stopped the suspect and chased him out of the store. A records check on the suspect revealed a warrant on the suspect. The suspect was arrested.

Shoplifting – Arrested

Officers responded to a report regarding a shoplifting suspect who fled the store with unpaid merchandise. While officers were on route to the location, the officers observed a man closely matching the description of the report on the MUNI street platform ready to get on the MUNI. Officers stopped the MUNI and detained the suspect who was in the possession of several items with price tags still attached. A records check revealed the suspect with two misdemeanor warrants for theft. The suspect was arrested.

Shoplifting – Arrested

20th Ave & Winston Dr
Officers responded to a report regarding a shoplifting suspect in custody. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the department’s Asset Protection employee. The employee stated he observed the suspect, on surveillance, select a perfume box before walking towards the exit of the store without pausing to pay for the merchandise. The department employee stopped the suspect outside of the department and escorted the suspect back into the department until the arrival of the officers. A records check on the suspect revealed 3 misdemeanor warrants for shoplifting. The suspect was arrested.
