Battery- Arrested

19th Ave & Lincoln Way
Officers responded to a battery report. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a witness who stated that suspect was a local drunk. The witness stated the suspect was particularly unstable today, approaching and yelling at random people on the street. The witness stated he observed the suspect use his fist to hit 4 random people on the arm/back area as they walked by. The suspect was arrested.

Taraval St & 24th Ave
Officers responded to a report regarding a battery over a dog bite. The victim stated he was playing catch with his dog, when the suspect threw a stick towards their direction. The suspect’s dog ran over to the victim and his dog; the two dogs began fighting. The victim stated the suspect came up to him and punched him on the left cheek before asking the victim for his and his dog’s information since the victim’s dog bit the suspect’s wrist. The victim’s dog was bleeding from her front right leg. The suspect was cited.

Vehicle Violation – No Driver’s License – Cited

Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle with expired registration. Officer conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that he was never issued a driver’s license. The driver also did not have any proof of insurance. The driver was cited.

Burglary – Trespassing – Cited

1800 Ocean Ave
Officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress at a store. Dispatch advised the officers that a witness saw the suspect using a tool to pry open the delivery area’s gate. Officers searched the building and located the suspect who was  later identified as being a juvenile. The juvenile was cited and released to his father.

The victim came to Taraval Station to file a battery report. The victim told the officer that she went to an estate sale with her husband. The suspect, the owner of the house, suddenly discovered his cell phone was gone and proceeded to pat down the victim without permission while trying to find his phone. The victim wanted to press charges.

Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim told the officers that she was having an argument with the suspect, her daughter, over laundry and money. The victim said that the argument intensified and the suspect hit her on top of her head. The suspect was later cited.
