Hit & Run
10:10 pm
31st Ave & Kirkham St
Officers responded to a report regarding a hit and run collision. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim who stated he was rear ended while driving. Shortly after, officers received a report of a vehicle matching the description of the hit and run vehicle as being stolen. Officers attempted to locate the vehicle involved in the hit and run but were unable to. Officers later observed a vehicle matching the description of the hit and run vehicle driving at a high rate of speed before pulling over into a driveway. As officers approach the vehicle, the driver of the vehicle stated he was the person who called the police to report that his vehicle stolen. When officers question the driver, the suspect became hostile and officers believed the driver was the suspect involved in the hit and run. After further investigation, the suspect was cited.

Robbery

Officers on duty at the Taraval Police Station received a walk-in report from the victim regarding robbery. The victim stated he was walking to his vehicle but suddenly awoke an hour later, on the grass of a park and was missing glasses and money. The victim believed he was robbed.

Threats

2600 26th Ave
Officers on duty at the Taraval Police Station received a walk-in report from the victim regarding a threat. The victim stated he was awarded a court decision where the suspect must reimburse the victim. However, when confronted, the  suspect threatened to kill the victim and therefore would no longer have to pay him back. 

Theft – Arrested
5:38 pm
2300 20th Ave
Officers responded to a report of theft. Upon arrival, officers were able to locate and detain the suspect. The security guard of the mall stated he had asked the suspect to leave the premises multiple times because she was a known shoplifting suspect. A records check on the suspect revealed 7 warrants on the suspect. The suspect was arrested.

Battery – Arrested

400 Gonzalez Dr
Officers responded to a report of battery. Upon arrival, officers met with the victim who stated her roommate came home intoxicated and confronted her about not paying the rent. The victim stated the suspect came into her room and grabbed her arm. The victim pulled herself away but the suspect swung a blanket at her. The victim left the room and called the police. The suspect was arrested.
