Warrant – Arrested

7th Ave & Hugo St
Taraval officers were on patrol one block into the Park District when they observed an individual near construction equipment who was pushing a shopping cart, ducking down and looking into parked vehicles. Officers made eye contact with the suspect which caused the suspect to put his head down and continue walking. Officers identified themselves as “Police” to the suspect, who quickly turned and began walking away. Officers told the suspect to stop to no avail and the suspect had to be chased down and handcuffed. A records check on the suspect revealed a warrant on the suspect and the suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report regarding a possible elder abuse incident. Upon arrival, officers spoke to a worker from Adult Protective Services who stated the victim had informed her that the suspect, her daughter, had pulled a knife on her and then lunged at her with the knife yesterday. The victim also stated she had recently been slapped on the face by the suspect. The suspect was arrested.

7th Ave & Lincoln Way
Officers were on duty at Taraval Police Station when the victim came in to report a battery case. The victim stated his neighbor had a restraining order on the suspect, her ex-boyfriend. The victim stated he was pumping gas at a station when the suspect approached him and accused the victim of dating the suspect’s ex-girlfriend. The suspect pushed the victim in the chest, returned to his vehicle and drove away.

Officers responded to a report for a suspicious occurrence investigation. Upon arrival, officers met with the school assistant principal who stated a teacher was threatened by a student. He also stated there were prior incidents of threats made to the teacher. The student was unavailable for interview as he was suspended.
