Violation of Court Order – Arrested

200 Broad St
Officers responded to a report of a possible assault. The victim told officers that she was tired of the suspect acting out and wanted the suspect out. A computer check on the suspect revealed that she had a stay away order of a 150 yards away and was in violation of the order. The suspect was arrested.

Shoplifting – Cited
6:25 pm
700 Taraval St
Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter. Officers arrived on scene and the store manager pointed at a suspect, who was fleeing the store and the officers detained the suspect. The manager told the officer that he was standing in front of the store when he saw the suspect walking down from the rooftop’s parking area with an empty reusable bag. When suspect walked back out from the store, the reusable bag was full. The suspect was cited

Under the Influence – Liquor Law Violation – Inflicting Physical or Mental Suffering on a Child – Arrested

Ocean Ave & Aptos Ave
Officers responded to a report of a male with a child walking up the street. The witness stated that they saw the male fall into the bushes and was unable to get back up. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with the suspect and the child. The suspect told the officer that he was walking home with his child but he never fell. During the conversation with the suspect, the officer smelled a strong odor of alcoholic beverages and observed the suspect showing obvious signs of intoxication. The suspect told the officers that they had no right stopping them and started to walk away. As the suspect reached to take his child’s hand, the child turned away and told the suspect that he did not want to go home with him and wanted to go home to his mother. Officers made contact with the mother and the child was released to her. The suspect was arrested for being intoxicated in public and not being able to care for his child.

Robbery

1600 15th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim told the officers that he and some friends were walking down the stairs when three suspects approached him. One of the suspects punched him in the mouth and took his camera. The suspect got into their vehicle and fled the scene.

Battery
7:04 pm
Judah St & 30th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim told the officer that the suspect, an ex, followed her onto the LRV and started harassing her. A bystander stepped to try and help but was punched by the suspect. The suspect fled the scene.
