Warrant Service – Marijuana Cultivating

40th Ave
Officers executed a search warrant at a house, which was converted into an illegal cultivation of marijuana plants. When officers made entry to the house, they located numerous marijuana plants in various stages of growth.  A suspect was identified and this will be an on going investigation.

Assault – Arrest

2600 Noriega St
Officers responded to a report of a pepper spray incident. The victim told the officers that he had parked his vehicle in front of the house to pick up his children. The suspect came up to his house and had an argument regarding the victim blocking his driveway. The victim got into his vehicle and was about to leave when the suspect sprayed him with some type of spray. When the suspect came out of the house to speak to the officers, they observed a can of pepper spray still in his pocket. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Vehicle Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

Taraval St & 17th Ave
Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle failing to stop at a posted stop sign. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed his driver’s license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Cutting telephone line – Arrested

100 Brighton Ave
Officers responded to a report of a domestic violence incident. The victim had gotten into an argument her son, the suspect. The victim reported that the suspect was drinking and possibly on drugs so the victim wanted to call the police but the suspect yanked the phone cable off the wall. The phone was then unusable and the victim went to her neighbors and called 911 for help. Responding officers located the suspect and after further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Robbery

300 Faxon Ave
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim reported that she was suddenly pushed onto the ground and her purse pulled off her. Officers searched the area and located a security camera that may have captured the incident and will be investigating.

Trespassing
12:43 pm
300 San Fernando Way
Officers responded to a report of a trespasser at a church. The witness told the officers that he received notification from the alarm company that someone had tripped the alarm. The witness reviewed the security camera and observed the suspect entering the building looking around before leaving the building.
