Assault – Arrested
4:19 pm
47th Ave & Judah St
Officers responded to a report of an assault. Officers spoke to the victim who stated that the suspect, her mother, cut her with a knife and tried to kill her. Officers placed the suspect in handcuffs before further investigation. The victim stated she tried to go inside her room when the suspect followed her inside and began throwing books at the victim. The suspect then grabbed the victim around her neck and began choking her. The victim pushed the suspect off in an effort to not lose consciousness. As the victim tried to recover from the attack, the suspect went to the kitchen, grabbed two large knives, and began waving the knives around. One of the knives hit the victim in her throat. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Violation of Restraining Order – Arrested

Officers responded to a report regarding a mentally disturbed person with a stick. Upon arrival, officers observed the suspect standing at the corner of the intersection, with a wooden stick in one hand. Officers asked the suspect to drop the stick and he complied. A record check on the suspect revealed the suspect had restraining orders at two locations and also that the suspect was not allowed weapons, sticks, or canes without a doctor’s prescription. Officers asked the suspect if he had a doctor’s prescription and the suspect stated he did not. The suspect was arrested.

Threats

Officers responded to a report about threats. The victim reported that he was out with his dog when another dog latched onto his dog. The victim and the 2nd dog’s owner were trying to pry the canines apart when a third dog ran over to the area. The victim pushed the third dog away because he was afraid the 3rd dog would also attack his dog. The 3rd dog’s owner threatened and attempted to physically attack the victim. The suspect was not at the scene when officers arrived.

Robbery

Garfield & Ralston St
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. Officers spoke to the victim who reported that he was walking to SFSU with his sound recording equipment in hand when he passed an unknown male, the suspect, who then followed the victim for one block. The victim stated that the suspect asked him for the time and then simulated a handgun inside his jacket pocket before demanded the victim’s bag. The victim gave the suspect his bag and the suspect fled from the location on foot.

Battery

Officers responded to a report of battery. Prior to arrival, dispatch informed officers that the victim claimed her boyfriend broke her finger. Upon arrival at the hospital, officers spoke with the victim and she became very uncooperative. When officers asked what happened to her finger, the victim stated she was “pushed” and then re-stated she “fell”. As officers spoke with the victim, she walked away into the parking lot and refused to disclose her boyfriend’s name. The victim woke up with spontaneous finger pain the following morning and called for an ambulance. A computer search of the address revealed prior incidents involving the victim and suspect. The computer search also revealed the suspect was currently on a felony probation.
