On 5/20/16, the Community Police Advisory Board (CPAB) hosted a wonderful lunch at Taraval Station for all the officers as a special “thank you” for their hard work. CPAB members graciously provided a taco themed meal which was freshly made on site, in front of the station. Supervisor Katy Tang and Supervisor Norman Yee also made an appearance and presented a Certificate of Honor signed by the Board of Supervisors for recognizing all the officers’ hard work.
However, it was quickly back to business as Captain Flaherty, Sgt. Mannix, Supervisor Tang, Supervisor Yee and the CPAB members to the opportunity after lunch to again discussed on how to curb the thefts from autos around the district.
