Assault

Officers responded to a report of fight of approximately 80 people but the crowd dispersed as responding officers arrived at the scene. Directed by a passerby, the officers located a victim who appeared intoxicated and had blood trickling down his face. Medical personnel were summoned to check the victim’s facial injuries and also found a stab wound in the victim’s back.  The victim had conflicting story about what had happened and said that he was hit on the head by an unknown person but did not know he was stabbed also.

Battery

Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim said that he was parking in the driveway of his building when a suspect came up to him, slapped him once and walked away.

Vehicle Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

19th Ave & Junipero Serra
Officers observed a vehicle with no license plates. Officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Warrant Arrest – Arrested

100 West Portal Ave
Officers responded to a report of a suspect in the bathroom, at a local business, for over an hour. As the officers walked towards the bathroom, the suspect exited. When asked, the suspect was unable to provide proof of identification. Officers transported the suspect to Taraval Station to confirm the suspect’s identity and a computer check revealed an active warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.

Vandalism to Vehicle – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a person acting aggressively. The victims told the officers that their friend, the suspect, ingested marijuana and was “acting out”. One victim also reported that the suspect had vandalized his vehicle by keying a bad word on it. The suspect was cited for the vandalism and transported to the hospital.

Probation Violation – Stay Away Order – Arrested

Wawona St & 23rd Ave
Officers responded to a report of a known suspect carrying a stick in violation of court order’s stay away condition. Upon arrival, officers observed the suspect carrying the stick as reported and a witness also reported that he saw the suspect defecated on his front driveway. The suspect was arrested and a probation hold was placed on him.
