Battery – Stay Away Order Violation – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim told the officers that she got into an argument with the suspect while waiting for the bus. During the argument, the suspect pushed her against the rail and slapped her on her face. A computer check revealed that the victim had an active stay away order against the suspect. After further investigation and interviewing the witness, the suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a trespasser sleeping in a shed, located in the victim’s backyard. Officers located the suspect and the victim requested that the suspect be arrested. The suspect was cited.

Search Warrant – Burglary – Stolen Property – Arrested

Taraval SIT members, along a detective from San Mateo, conducted a search warrant for a suspect and for stolen property related to a burglary incident here in the Taraval district as well as in the San Mateo District. The officers and detective executed the search warrant and located both the suspect and stolen property. The suspect was arrested.

Assault

The victim came to Taraval Station to report an assault. The victim told the officers that he, the suspect and a group of friends went clubbing. Afterwards, they went to the suspect’s house. where the victim said that he felt intoxicated and ill so he entered one of the bedrooms. The suspect got angry and pushed the victim down a flight of stairs causing a the victim to sprain his ankle. The victim said that they left after the incident occurred.

Officers responded to a report of an argument. The victim, a MUNI bus driver, told the officer that the suspect had yelled at him and spat on him. The victim reported that the suspected boarded the bus while yelling obscenities. The   told the suspect that she needed to get off the bus if she didn’t stop which caused the suspect to get angry. The suspect then spat on the victim before walking away. 

Robbery – False Identification Card – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a suspect brandishing a knife at security members. The victim, a loss prevention agent, told the officers that he observed a group of 3 juveniles smoking from a vaporizer and stealing items from inside the store. The victim confronted the suspects and told them to stop smoking and escorted them out of the store. Outside, the victim told the suspects that they need to hand over the stolen items. The suspect who had the items initially responded that he did not know what he was talking about and continued to walk away. The victim attempted to retain the suspect to retrieve the stolen merchandise but the suspect pulled out a pocket knife and threatened the victim. San Francisco State police was nearby and detain the suspects. The suspect who stole the items was arrested while the other two suspects were admonished and released to their guardians.
