Robbery

Officers responded to a report of an argument between two people. The victim pointed out the suspect to responding officers and said that the suspect wanted to use the store’s bathroom. The victim replied that the entry code to the bathroom was printed on the bottom of the receipt. This caused the suspect to get angry and he threatened to kick over the store’s item. Instead of following through with the threat, the suspect grabbed some food items and walked towards the front exit without paying for them. The victim tried to stop the suspect but was punched in the head. The suspect was arrested.

The victim came to Taraval Station to file a hit and run report. The driver admitted to driving the vehicle that was involved in a vehicle accident. A computer check revealed that the driver did not have a valid driver’s license. The driver was cited and a report was taken.

Shoplifting – Cited

700 Taraval St
Officers responded to a report of a fight between two people. The officer arrived on scene and the witness, the manager, told the officers that he saw the suspect walking around the store and selecting several items before walking out of the store without paying for them. The manager followed the suspect and was successful in retrieving the stolen items when the suspect trip and fell. The officer investigated the incident and cited the suspect.

Officers responded to a report of someone being pepper sprayed. The victim told the officers that the suspect, his ex-girlfriend, approached him and started arguing with him about his infidelity. The victim said that he did not want to argue anymore and started walking away. The suspect then pulled out pepper spray and sprayed him in the eye before fleeing the scene.
