Warrant Arrest – Arrested

00 Chumasero Dr
Officers responded to a report of a person suspected to have an arrest warrant. Lake Merced courtesy patrol directed responding officers to the suspect and stated that they had numerous encounters  with him. A computer check on the suspect confirmed that he had a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.

Shoplifting – Burglary Tools – Arrested

1500 Sloat Blvd
Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter. Officers arrived on scene and a witness pointed out the suspects, who were trying to leave the parking lot. Officers attempted to detain and place handcuffs on the suspect, but the suspect resisted their efforts. Once the suspect was handcuffed, officers located a bag that contained numerous merchandise items from the store that was outfitted to fool the store’s shoplifting sensors. The witness reported to the officers that they saw the suspect enter the store and acted suspiciously. Under further observation, they noted that the suspect’s bag appeared fuller then when they had initially walked in. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a possible burglary in progress. The witness reported that he observed suspicious activity and saw a suspect looking out of a window of the construction site.  Responding officers entered the construction site and located the suspect. Initially the suspect gave the officers a false name and they were unable to positively identify him. After the suspect’s real name and identity was secured, a computer check revealed that the suspect had a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.

Vehicle Violation – Expired Driver’s License – Cited

24th Ave & Quintara St
Officers observed a driver using his cell phone while driving at the same time. Officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had expired. The driver was cited.

Vehicle Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited
10:52 am
19th Ave & Chester Ave
A random computer check on a vehicle revealed that the car’s registration had expired. Officers conducted a traffic stop and were told that the driver did not have insurance. A computer check on the driver also revealed that his license had been suspended. After further investigation, the driver was cited.
