Threats

600 Lincoln Way
Officers responded to a report of a threat. The victim, an employee, reported that the suspect came into the gas station and asked to use the microwave. The victim replied that the suspect could use the microwave quickly but the suspect overheated his food and was asked to leave. The suspect left but returned to look for his property. The victim told the suspect that he did not bring the property in with him but the  suspects got angry and threatened to kill the victim.

Officers responded to a report of a suspect trying to open multiple vehicle door handles while walking down the street.   A witness directed the responding officers to the suspect’s hiding place, which was located between the front of a vehicle and a garage door. The witness reported that looking out the window and observed the suspect walking down the street trying the door handles of parked cars.  The suspect found a vehicle that was unlocked, climbed in and started rummaging through the vehicle’s contents. The officers contacted the owner of the vehicle who discovered that there were missing items from the vehicle. A search of the suspect revealed that he had the stolen items. After further investigation the suspect was cited.

Officers responded to a report of vandalism. The victim told dispatch that he was following a suspect after he witnessed the suspect ripping fuses out of a fuse box and setting off the fire extinguisher. Officers arrived on scene and detained the suspect. The victim told the officers that he realized his power went off, looked out the window and saw the suspect in the backyard setting off the extinguisher and ripping out more fuses from other boxes. The suspect was cited.

Ortega St & 10th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a MUNI driver being victimized with a suspect brandishing a knife. The reported to  the officers that he observed the suspect sleeping and attempted to wake the suspect up to see where his final destination was. The suspect awoke, sat up and immediately began yelling profanities at the victim. The suspect then reached into his pocket and pulled out a kitchen knife. Responding officers arrived, detained the suspect and located the knife that was in the suspect’s pocket. A computer check revealed that the suspect was on probation for threats. The suspect was arrested.
