Officers responded to a report of a someone unable to open their door, which they suspected a neighbor had glued or taped it shut on purpose.  Upon arrival, officers spoke to the parties involved. Party #1 stated that he came home and was unable to open his front door. He immediately suspected his upstairs neighbor, party #2, was the one who vandalized door and confronted him. Party #2 stated that he had no idea why his party #1 was upset and did not have any information about why party #1’s door was stuck shut. This caused an argument with each party claiming the other threw the first punch at them. Witnesses at the scene reported that both parties started arguing and pushing each other around but did not see anyone punching the other. Both parties were cited.

Sunset Blvd & Lake Merced
Officers observed a vehicle with expired registration and conducted a traffic stop. A computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Attempted Shoplifting

700 Irving St
Officers responded to a report of an attempted shoplifting incident. The witness, the manager of the store, told the officers that he recognized a suspect how had a previous history of shoplifting in the store. This time, the manager observed the witness select multiple bottles of alcohol before exiting the store without paying. The witness stopped the suspect outside the store, told the suspect to return the merchandise and requested identification. The suspect complied and handed over both the merchandise and his driver’s license before fleeing the scene.
