Battery – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute. The victim reported that he confronted the suspect over her alcoholism, which resulted in a verbal confrontation. During the confrontation, the victim grabbed a butter knife from the kitchen counter and simulated that he was going to cut himself. This agitated the suspect and she told him to stop before attempting to record the incident on her phone.  After, there was a struggle between the victim and suspect over the phone, which caused the suspect to become angry and punch the victim.  During questioning, the suspect admitted to punching the victim to get her phone back but believed that the victim was not attempting to kill himself and just wanted to get her attention. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Officers were on patrol and investigating a report of numerous tents set up in bushes. Officers searched the reported area but were unable to locate the tents. During the investigation, however, they located a person that was in the vicinity of their search that was barbecuing. Officers asked the person for his information and computer check revealed that the person had a warrant for his arrest. The person was arrested.

Officers were looking for a suspect with a known warrant for his arrest. The officers located the suspect at a location that he was known to frequent. After a computer check confirmed the warrant, the suspect was arrested.

Vehicle Violation – No Driver’s License Issued – Cited

19th Ave & Irving St
Officers observed a vehicle that did not stop for a red light. Officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that she was never issued a driver’s license. The driver was cited.

Attempted Robbery

17th Ave & Judah St
Officers responded to a report of a robbery in progress. The two victims reported that they were sitting on the curb when a vehicle pulled up and stopped in front of them. Two suspects exited the vehicle and pointed a handgun at the victims before demanding their wallets and cell phones. The victims told the suspects that they do not have anything on them. The suspects believed the victims were homeless and got back into their vehicle which was being driven by a third suspect before fleeing the scene. Shortly after, officers located and detained the three suspects. After further investigation, the officers learned that the suspects had committed several other robberies in the area. The three suspects were arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a suspect who had urinated in a yard before driving off his vehicle, swerving and cursing at random people. Responding officers located the vehicle and observed the vehicle driving in an unsafe manner; the vehicle would stop at a stop sign and then speed up too quickly. The officers followed the suspect as it continued to display unsafe driving practices and conducted a traffic stop.

The suspect was uncooperative and refused to provide his driver’s license or follow any of the officer’s lawful orders or requests. The suspect then ignored the officers and started rummaging around in search of something in the vehicle. The officer restrained the suspect during a brief struggle while the suspect resisted. Once the suspect was placed in handcuffs, the officers located a butter knife on the seat. When questioned, the suspect told the officers that the lawn was a national park which meant that he was allowed to urinate on it. The suspect then told the officers that his vehicle was special and that he need to drive it differently. When the officers check the vehicle, they did not observe anything different about the vehicle. The suspect was later cited.

An officer was on patrol when she observed a person, with cotton balls stuffed up both of his nostrils, at a street corner.  The officer approached and questioned the person after injuring about his wellbeing. The person told the officer that it was nice so he walked from Quesada Ave Quint Ave, which was suspiciously well over an hour and half walk away. When questioned about his identity, the person provided false information and produced a fake birthday that did not match with his previous answers about his age.  The officer located a wallet on the person which had his true identity and a computer check revealed that he had a warrant out of San Mateo. A search of the suspect person also revealed that glass pipe that was used for smoking narcotics. The suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute. Officers arrived on scene and detained the suspect. The suspect stated that he had gotten into an argument with the victim who felt left out while the suspect spent time outside of their shared social circle.  The suspect admitted to grabbing the victim’s arms during the argument to stop the victim, who wanted to leave. The victim responded that they got into an argument and when the victim walked towards the door and tried to leave, the suspect pushed him back. The victim tried to leave a second time, but the suspect grabbed his wrist. The suspect was later arrested.
