San Francisco Police Arrest Serial Robbery Suspects
In the early hours of Wednesday, June 15, 2016, San Francisco Police responded to several calls about robberies involving suspects armed with handguns. The four robberies, all with similar vehicle and suspect descriptions, occurred within a two hour timespan at Clay and Walnut Streets in the Richmond district, Masonic and Grove Streets in the Park district, Judah and 10th Avenue, and Judah and 17th Avenue, both in the Taraval district.
Based on evidence and witness statements obtained during the investigation, taken into custody were the following three suspects.
– Alfredo Meza, Hispanic male, 18 years old, Stockton resident, booked on charges of felony robbery, felony attempted robbery, and felony conspiracy.
– David Gonzalez, Hispanic male, 22 years old, Livermore resident, booked on charges of felony robbery, felony attempted robbery, and felony conspiracy.
– Jose Garcia, Hispanic male, 20 years old, Oakland resident, booked on charges of felony robbery, felony attempted robbery, and felony conspiracy.
