Vehicle Violation – No License’s Issued – Warrant Arrest – Arrested

Lincoln Way & Martin Luther King
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle, a sedan, in front of them without registration tabs. A computer check revealed that the license plate belonged on a truck. Officers conducted a traffic stop and were told by the driver that he did not have a driver’s license. A computer check on the driver revealed that he had a warrant for his arrest out of Sacramento. The driver was arrested.
Assault – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of domestic violence. The victim reported that the suspect had returned home from work and seemed agitated a few days ago. The suspect said she didn’t feel well and went directly to the bathroom. The victim followed her in an attempt to help but the suspect was angry and struck him several times with a hair dryer. The victim stated that he also fell to the ground and was kicked by the suspect. The next day, the suspect returned home and immediately accused the victim of not feeding their children. The suspect woke up the children and began cooking food. The suspect was again upset and used a kitchen knife to cut the victim on his left shoulder and also took a cleaver and struck the victim with the handle. Afterwards, the suspect left the location. Responding officers were speaking to the victim when the suspect returned home. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
Stay Away Order Violation – Probation Violation – Arrested

Officers responded to a known suspect that was in violation of a stay away order. Officers arrived on scene and found the suspect holding a metal rod. A computer check noted that the suspect had a history and that DA Wong was currently in charge of the suspect’s cases. It was also revealed that the suspect was on probation and prohibited from carrying any type of stick. The suspect was arrested.
Battery

Taraval St & 33rd Ave
Officers were flagged down by a victim regarding a battery and officers observed that the victim appeared intoxicated. The victim reported that he attempted to enter a bar with an outside alcoholic beverage but got into an argument with several patrons of the bar and was prevented from entering the bar. As the victim was walking away, he stated that he was attacked by an unknown suspect. Medical help arrived on scene and transported him to the hospital.
Elder Abuse – Arrested

Broad St & Capitol Ave
Officers responded to a report of a fight. The victim reported that the suspect, her daughter, depended on her after her separation from her husband. The victim stated that she was on the computer, attempting to file paperwork in hopes to give the suspect her inheritance early but the suspect started arguing and aggressively demanded a copy of the paperwork by pulling the victim by her forearm. The victim stated that the suspect was intoxicated during the incident and is only aggressive or verbally abusive when she was drunk. However, the victim told the officer that she was mentally drained and from dealing with the suspect’s behavior and notified the police of the incident. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
