Officers responded to a report of a non injury, vehicle collision. While assisting in the exchange of information, officers learned that one of the drivers did not have a valid driver’s license. The driver was cited.

Trespassing – Cited

Officers responded to a report of a prowler at a location with a history of a squatter trespassing at an empty house. A witness reported to the officers that he saw lights on inside the building. Responding officers located a suspect that was asleep inside the house. After further investigation, the suspect was cited.

Shoplifting – Cited

Officers responded to a report of a verbal argument. The witness, a clerk, told the officers that she observed the suspect walk into the store and steal several items. Responding officers detained the suspect upon arrival and after further investigation, cited her.

Aided Case – Warrant Arrest – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a person who had intentionally doused himself with lighter fluid. Officer arrived on scene and located the subject. The subject stated that he had head lice and wanted to use the lighter fluid to get rid of them. An ambulance was contacted and the subject was taken to the hospital for mental evaluation and aid. A computer check also revealed a warrant for his arrest.

Victim approached a Lieutenant and told him that someone had tried to rob him. The victim reported that he was walking on the sidewalk, with his phone in his hand, when he was approached by a suspect. The suspect demanded the victim’s phone, but the victim ignored him. The suspect then lifted up his sweatshirt and revealed the grip of what the victim believed to be the handle to a gun. Fearful, the victim immediately ran off and located the police.
