Officers responded to a report of an altercation between a landlord and tenant. The victim reported that the suspect wanted to keep the garage door open. However, the victim wanted the door closed which started an argument. When the victim went to close the garage, the suspect elbowed the victim out of the way to prevent it from closing. The suspect responded that the victim cooked constantly, which made the area smell and he wanted the door open to help get rid of the bad smell. The suspect was cited.

Attempted Robbery – Assault – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a robbery at a gas station. The victim reported that he observed the suspect walk into the store and started putting items directly into his pocket. The victim confronted the suspect and realized that he was intoxicated. The victim tried to take the items back but the suspect started pushing him. The victim tried push the suspect out of the store but was unable to lock the doors when the suspect pushed his way back into the store. The victim fled behind the counter, took out pepper spray and used it to defend himself. The suspect fell onto the floor and the victim locked him in the store until police arrived. The suspect was arrested.

Brandishing a Knife

Officers responded to a report of a suspect brandishing a knife. The victim said that he was standing outside the store when he accidently bumped into the suspect. The suspect angrily called the victim names in response and yelled at him. They both started arguing and the suspect pulled out a knife before fleeing the scene.

Trespassing – Marijuana Cultivation – Search Warrant – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a female screaming. The witness reported that she heard a female screaming and yelling but wasn’t sure what the reason was. Officers and firefighters made a forced entry when their knocks for a well being check went unanswered. As the officers and firefighters made entry, the suspects escaped to the neighbor’s property and were in the neighbor’s garage before they were detained.  The suspect told the officers that they were visiting and that they had keys to the property. While searching for suspects, the officers observed multiple marijuana plants and an illegal use of electricity bypassing. Officers exited the building and obtained a search warrant. Once obtained, the officers located numerous items related to the growing of and the sales of drugs. The suspects were arrested.
