Assault

1300 Noriega St
Officers responded to a report of a fight outside a bar. The victims reported that they had exited the bar the same time as the suspect, in which both parties were believed to be intoxicated, and started an argument. The argument escalated and the victims were punched in the face before the suspect fled the scene.  The victims and suspect were intoxicated during the incident. The suspect fled the scene.

Burglary – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a fight. The victim reported that he was working on his client’s house with the gate open and the front door closed but unlocked. The victim heard a noise in the house and when he went to investigate, the observed that his cell phone was missing and the suspect was exiting the house. Responding officers searched the area and located the suspect, where it was revealed that the suspect also had a large kitchen knife concealed on his person. The suspect was arrested.

Vehicle Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

19th Ave & Ulloa St
Officers observed a vehicle that had expired registration. A computer check on the vehicle revealed that the registration had been suspended. Officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver reveled that his driver’s license was also suspended for DUI. The driver did not have proof of insurance. The driver was cited.

Shoplifting – Resisting or Delaying Officers Duty – Warrant Arrest – Arrested

3200 20th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a detained shoplifter. The witness, a loss prevention agent, reported that he saw the suspect with a folded up, reusable shopping bag while he was walking around the store. The witness observed the suspect select ten items and walked to the fitting room. When the suspect left the fitting room, it was observed that five items were missing from the total she brought in. The suspect then exited the store without paying any of the items that she had taken and concealed. The witness followed and detained the suspect before the responding officers arrived. Officers were unable to initially confirm the suspect’s identity based on the information she volunteered but after further investigation, the suspect confessed her true identity. A computer check on the suspect revealed a warrant for her arrest. The suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that she was asleep on the couch when the suspect came home from shopping. The suspect was making too much noise, so she told him to quiet down. The suspect got angry and pulled the victim off the couch, causing her to fall on her previously injured and broken finger. The suspect then continued to yell and kick items around while inside the residence. The suspect was still on scene and complied with officers orders. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a domestic dispute. The victim reported that the suspect was in their living room trying to take parts out of a television that he had found on the streets when they started having a loud argument. The victim got angry and threw a glass of water across the room. The suspect pushed the victim, causing her to fall backward spilling the rest of the water onto herself. The suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a purse snatching. The victim said she was on a walk when the suspect came from behind and pulled at her purse. The victim said that she tried to hang onto the purse but the suspect managed to pull it free before fleeing the location with it.
