Driving While Intoxicated – Cited

36th Ave & Lawton St
Officers responded to a report of a vehicle collision. Responding officers arrived to the location of the two vehicle collision, which resulted in one vehicle landing on it’s roof.  SFFD arrived on scene and removed the driver form the overturned vehicle who reported that he did not know what had happened. However, a witness responded to the officers and said he observed the vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and did not stop at the posted stop signs. Shortly after, the witness heard a crash and saw the car flip over. The driver was taken to the hospital because of his injuries but officers observed a strong odor of alcohol emanating the driver’s breath as he spoke and from his person. A blood draw was also performed and will be tested later. The driver was cited.

Vehicle Violation – No Driver’s License Issued

Sunset Blvd & Quintara St
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle with an expired registration. A computer check on the vehicle confirmed that it was expired. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that he was never issued a driver’s license. The driver was cited.
