Robbery – Assault

Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim reported that she was walking when the suspect approached her from behind and attempted to grab her purse away from her. The victim stated that the suspect punched her but she was able to hold on to her purse. The suspect suddenly stopped and fled the scene. A witness saw the incident and reported that the suspect then ran into a waiting vehicle and fled the scene.
Brandishing

Officers responded to a report of brandishing. The victim reported that she was walking when she was confronted by two suspects. The suspect attempted to scare the victim by saying “boo”, however the victim wasn’t scared and the suspect responded by brandishing a knife. Unafraid, the victim continued walking and ignored the suspects who left the scene. The victim reported that she was more angry that this incident happen then she was scared.
