Battery

00 West Portal Ave
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim stated that she was at a bar with friends when she leaned over to  get the bartender’s attention when the suspect, seated next to her, slapped her behind. This angered the victim but she was unable to get assistance from the bartender. Both the victim and her friends left the establishment and were outside when the suspect also walked outside to smoke. Both groups got into a verbal argument before the suspect’s friends escorted the suspect away. 

 

Vehicle Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

Noriega St & 28th Ave
Officers observed a vehicle failing to make a complete stop at a posted stop sign. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Trespassing – Cited

100 Font Blvd
Officers responded to a report of a squatter. The witness, the manager of the apartment complex, reported that the neighbors heard someone taking showers inside a vacant apartment nearby. The witness and officers entered the apartment and observed the suspect illegally inside the apartment. The witness stated that he had caught the suspect multiple times inside the apartment and was always told never to come back. The suspect was cited.

Ortega St & 48th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a person asleep while on a MUNI bus. The witness, a MUNI bus driver, told the officers that he had arrived at the end of his route and awoke the sleeping suspect. When asked to leave the bus, the suspect refused to get off. Responding officers arrived and located the suspect, still asleep on the bus. Officers woke the suspect up and a computer check revealed that the suspect had a warrant out of San Mateo. The suspect was arrested.

Officers received information that the suspect from a previous incident had returned home. The witness reported that she was at the location when the suspect was involved in a domestic battery incident before fleeing. The witness stated that she had contacted the victim about the suspect returning and the victim then contacted the police. The suspect was located and arrested.

Vehicle Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Warrant Arrest – Arrested

Lake Merced Blvd & Font Blvd
Officers observed a driver constantly looking down into her lap, as if looking at cell phone. The officers also observed the vehicle did not have a license plate or any evidence that it had recently had been purchased. The officer conducted a traffic stop and was told by the driver that she did not have her license on her. A computer check on the driver revealed that her driver’s license had been suspended and there was a warrant for her arrest. The driver was arrested.

Assault – Arrested

400 Ralston St
Officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute. The victim reported that he and the suspect were having a heated argument because the suspect accused the victim of cheating. The victim called 911 because he did not want the incident to become physical. While on the phone, the suspect grabbed several items and hit the victim over the head with a pot and stabbed the victim’s arm with a knife causing bruising. The suspect responded that they did grab a knife was but too far away to hurt the victim. The suspect suggested that the victim had accidentally made contact to the knife while trying to push away from the suspect. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
