Driving While Under the Influence

00 Keystone Way
Officers conducted a well being check on two occupants who were in a vehicle that was double parked, at an angle, in the roadway. The driver side door was observed to be ajar while the engine was still running; the driver appeared to have vomited on his shirt and pants and into street next to the open car door. Officers removed the driver and passenger, who seemed asleep, from their vehicle and set them on the curb, where the driver promptly fell over and went back to sleep. The driver eventually woke up and agreed to a blood test and a ambulance was called for their transport. After further investigation, the driver was cited.

Officers observed a driver texting while driving. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Battery
9:26 am
1300 43rd Ave
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that he just entered the church when the suspect approached and told him to leave. The suspect then grabbed him and proceeded to wrestle him.  The victim told the officers that he sustained a small laceration but did not want to press charges.

Attempted Vehicle Stolen – Arrested

Sloat Blvd & 37th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a possible theft of a MUNI bus. The witness, the bus driver, told the officers that he had stepped out to use the bathroom when was about to lay down to relax when the suspect entered the bus and sat in the driver’s seat before trying to flip switches. The suspect then asked the witness where the keys were. The witness, thinking that the suspect was possibly trying to steal the bus, told the suspect to get off the bus. The witness then called their dispatch and and requested police assistance. The suspect was arrested.

Threats – Tire Slashing – Brandishing

46th Ave & Judah St
Officers responded to a report of a fight. The victim reported that he had just parked his vehicle when the suspect approached him and started yelling that he was going to kill him. The suspect then took out a knife and slashed the victim’s front tire before chasing after the victim.  The suspect never made any attempts to lung at the victim with the knife while chasing him but held on to the knife. Eventually, the suspect got into a vehicle and fled the scene. The victim told the officers that he and the suspect were old time acquaintances but had falling out because of family matters.
