Traffic Violation – Arrested

Holloway Ave & Byxbee St
Officers were on patrol when they observed a the driver operating a vehicle while not wearing a seat belt and holding a cell phone up to his right ear. Officers conduct a traffic stop and asked for the suspect’s driver’s license. The suspect stated he did not have a driver’s license. The suspect was arrested.

Battery – Cited

700 Irving St
Officers responded to a report regarding a disturbance. Responding officers spoke with the victim, a Starbucks employee, who stated that the suspect came into the store and caused a disturbance by dancing around. The employee asked the suspect to leave and escorted the suspect out. However, while walking the suspect out, the victim stated that the suspect hit him on the arm. Officers located the suspect, detained and cited him.

Battery

4000 Irving St
Officers were on duty at Taraval Police Station when the victim came to report a battery. The victim stated he was doing paperwork at his girlfriend’s house and heard a male and female arguing out on the sidewalk. Hours later, while slightly intoxicated, the victim went out to the sidewalk where the couple were still arguing to see what the problem was.  Later in the day, the victim woke up at a hospital and believes he was involved in an altercation but could not remember the details because he was knocked unconscious somehow.

Officers responded to a report regarding a theft. Responding officers spoke to the witness, a cab driver who was dropping off two passengers, who stated that he saw an unknown male run out of a home with two large bags and an unknown female chasing after him. The driver stated that his two passengers then exited his vehicle and left with the male.
