Battery – Cited

Officers responded to a report of battery.  The victim stated that the suspect was not satisfied with a purchase and demanded the contact information for the manager. When told that the victim was unable to provide the information, the suspect became angry and punched the victim once. The suspect responded that he wanted his item, that was under warrantee, fixed but the victim refused to honor the request. Pursuing the issue, the suspect received a business card from the victim but it did not have the contact information requested and an argument ensued.   The suspect admitted to flinging the business card, which hit the victim, but stated that he never punched the victim. After further investigation the suspect was cited.

Trespassing – Cited

Officers responded to a report of a trespasser. The victim told the officers that the suspect, her sister, was not allowed to come over to her property and wanted to press charges for the current violation. The suspect had also been advised by officers to not trespass on the location during previous incidents. The suspect was cited.

Theft from a Vehicle – Possession of Stolen Property – Warrant Arrest – Arrested

42nd Ave & Kirkham St
Officers responded to a report of auto burglaries in the area.  Using the details provided by the witness, responding officers located the suspect carrying two bags that he were his personal belongings. A computer check on the suspect revealed that he had a warrant for his arrest. Officers also searched the area for any cars that appeared to have been broken into and located one vehicle which had items strewn around the interior. The owner of the vehicle confirmed the it was broken into. After a search, the victim confirmed that her property was located inside the bags the suspect was previously in possession of.  A witness also confirmed observing the suspect break into and take items from the vehicle before leaving the scene. After further investigation, officers arrested the suspect.
