Battery – Evading a Police Vehicle – Vandalism

200 Minerva St
Officers responded to a report regarding a physical fight. Officers located the suspect and attempted to make a traffic stop but the suspect fled away at a high rate of speed. Due to the unsafe nature, officers did not engage in pursuit. Instead, they attempted to speak with the victim and witness who were uncooperative. Still investigating, the officers located a vehicle with a shattered rear window which was registered to the victim.  An ambulance was requested for the victim, who was observed to have suffered injuries which caused a swollen forehead and a minor laceration with dried blood.

Officers were on duty at Taraval Station when the victim came to report a battery. The victim reported that the suspect came up to him and said a few words before swinging at him with both his fists. The victim stated he went to the hospital regarding his injuries but refused to give officers a specific description of the suspect or information about the hospital he sought treatment at.

Officers responded to a report regarding a battery incident.  Responding officers contacted Park Merced security, who stated that the victim was assaulted by their neighbor. The victim reported that she was in her backyard and observed that the faucet was left on in the yard. The victim asked the suspect if she could turn off the faucet but did not receive a reply. When she attempted to turn off the faucet, the suspect grabbed her by the forearm with enough force to bruise her arm. The suspect left the location before officers arrived. 

 

Dog Bite

Officers were on duty at Taraval Station when the victim came to report a dog bite to his dog. The victim stated he was walking his dog on a leash when two bulldogs, who were off leash, rushed out of a house and attacked his dog. The larger of the two bulldogs jumped on the victim’s dog and began biting it. In defense, the victim kicked the larger bulldog off his dog before two suspects came out of the house to retrieve their dogs. The victim took his dog to the veterinarian, who treated his dog for a puncture wound on it’s left rear leg.
