Vehicle Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

Officers observed a vehicle that failed to stop at a stop sign. After a closer inspection, it was noted that the vehicle also had an expired registration. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Officers responded to a report of threats. The victim, a bank teller, was walking into the bank when the suspect approached him and threatened to harm him before leaving the location. The victim reported that the suspect was angry with the service the bank had given him but was unsure if the threats were directed towards him specifically.

Officers observed a vehicle with an expired registration. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed he was never issued a driver’s license and also confirmed the expired registration. The driver did not have proof of insurance. The driver was cited.
Arson – Arrested

Sunset Blvd & Vicente St
Officers observed a suspect kneeling and reaching towards the ground, where smoke and flames where emanating. Officers detained the suspect and ensured that fire was extinguished. The suspect stated, at first, that the fire may have caused by him carelessly tossing a cigarette away. After further investigation, however, the suspect stated that he set some papers on fire which then caused the grass to catch on fire. The suspect was arrested.
