Robbery – Assault – Arrested
9:18 pm
San Jose Ave & Mount Vernon Ave

Officers responded to a report of a robbery with a gun; dispatch reported that the victim was just robbed with bleeding from a head wound and the suspect had fled. Responding officers met with the victim, who had a laceration on his forehead. The victim stated that while he was walking home, he was hit from behind. As the victim stumbled forward, he saw that the suspect was holding gun. The victim started to run away but the suspect gave chase and the victim hit the suspect with the butt end of his knife.  At that point, another suspect suddenly appeared and punched the victim after tackling the victim. The suspects grabbed the victim’s items and fled the scene. Officers tracked the victim’s phone to the downtown area and located the two suspects, aged 15 and aged 18. Despite one suspect attempting to flee, both were detained and identified by the victim. After further investigation, both suspects were arrested.

Battery

1300 22nd Ave
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that the noticed that a vehicle was blocking his driveway and he tried to discover who the vehicle belonged to. The suspect walked up to the victim and the victim asked that the vehicle be removed. The suspect responded angrily that he could do whatever he wanted and refused to move the vehicle. An argument ensued and the suspect punched the victim before leaving the location. 

 

Robbery

1500 Taraval St
Officers responded to a report of a robbery with a gun. The victims reported that they were walking when three suspects approached them. One of the suspects had a gun and was pointing it at the ground and the victims were told to reset their phones before handing them over to the suspects. The suspects then fled the scene. 

Vehicle Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

Lincoln Way & 45th Ave
Officers observed a vehicle that failed to stop at a stop sign. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his driver’s license was suspended. The driver was cited.

Vehicle Violation – No Driver’s License – Cited
7:22 am
19th Ave & Denslowe
Officers observed a vehicle speeding and traveling at 51 mph in a 35mph zone. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that he did not have a driver’s license issued. The driver was cited.

Violation of Restraining Order – Arrested
4:06 pm
800 Irving St
Officers responded to a violation of restraining order report. The witness told the officers that the suspect had a restraining order from the bank but the suspect was recently seen sitting in front of the building. The suspect was arrested.

Driving While Under the Influence – Cited
5:22 pm
00 San Jacinto Way
Officers responded to a report of a drunk driver. The witness placed a call to the police to report that a driver had just driven away from the house while drunk. While speaking to the witness, the driver returned home and was observed showing common signs of intoxication by the responding officers. The officer conducted a field sobriety test, which the driver failed.  After further investigation, the driver was cited. 

Battery – Under the Influence – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that the suspect was drunk and started hitting him. The victim attempted to restrain the suspect and attempted to get her to leave but was unsuccessful. The suspect was arrested.
