Warrant Arrest – Arrested

Officers were on patrol and observed a suspect, with a known history and a warrant, standing in front of a location. Officers confirmed the warrant and the suspect were arrested.

Shoplifting – False Identification – Arrested

1100 Ocean Ave
Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter being detained by security. Security reported that they observed the suspect stealing items and walking out of the store and detained her. When told that the store was calling the police, the suspect asked to use the bathroom in an attempt an escape. Upon questioning, the suspect provided a name and birthday that responding officers were unable to confirm or validate. While completing the arrest process, officers located stolen credit cards on the suspect. Also, the suspect’s real ID finally confirmed which revealed that she had a warrant for her arrest. The suspect was arrested.

Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

San Jose Ave & Niagara Ave
Officers were on patrol and observed the suspect urinating against the side of a building. Officers conducted a computer check on the suspect which was clear of warrants but revealed that his license was suspended. The suspect was admonished and released. Several hours later, the officers observed the same suspect driving a vehicle in the area. Officers conducted a traffic stop and cited the suspect.

An officer was on patrol and observed a vehicle with a non functioning brake light. The officer conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license was suspended. The driver was cited.

Vehicle Arson

2500 32nd Ave
Officers responded to a report of vehicle arson. SFFD reported that they received a call concerning a vehicle on fire and believed that a shirt was the fire’s initial point of origin. SFFD will be conducting the investigation.
