SAFE is a non-profit organization that helps residents, businesses, and community members improve the quality of life in their neighborhood. SF SAFE provides education and support on public safety issues of crime and violence. One of the many things they will help people do is organize a neighborhood watch group. This is a way for people to get to know their neighbors and make their own neighborhood safe. Even if you are not part of a neighborhood watch group, at no cost, SF SAFE will go to your residence and conduct a safety survey. They will do this for businesses also, but there is a fee.
