Warrant Arrest – Violation of Restraining Order – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a violation of restraining order. Responding officers spoke to the victim who stated that despite a restraining order against the suspect seeing the victim and her son, the suspect was at the location. The suspect responded that he believed the opposite was true, that he was able to see his children without restrictions. A computer check confirmed that the restraining order was currently valid and also revealed that the suspect had a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.

Vehicle Violation – No Driver’s License Issued – Cited

A sergeant was conducting speed enforcement and observed a vehicle traveling approximately 50 mph in a 35 mph zone. The sergeant conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that he was never issued a driver’s license. The driver was cited.

Fire

800 Gonzalez Dr
Officers responded to a report of a fire. SFFD was already on scene when officers arrived and confirmed that it was a small dumpster fire. SFFD will continue to conduct the investigation into this incident.

Robbery of Commercial Establishment – Probation Violation – Arrested

700 Taraval St
Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter. Responding officers spoke with the witness who reported that they heard the rear door alarm go off and attempted to stop the suspect. However, the suspect lowered his shower before ramming into the witness and knocking the witness down. During the scuffle, the witness retrieved some of the stolen merchandise, a package of chocolate bars. Responding officers detained the suspect, who had a history of shoplifting from the store, and a search revealed a multitude of stolen candy and drinks that were stuffed down the suspect’s pants.  The suspect was arrested

Battery – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a battery. Responding officers spoke to the witness and victim, who reported that they had just arrived at a party and discovered that the suspect was also present. The suspect and victim got into an argument and the suspect slapped the victim on the fact. The witness admitted that both the suspect and victim had been drinking previously in the evening. The suspect was later cited.
