Robbery

600 Lincoln Way (occurred in the Southern District)
Officers responded to a report regarding a robbery at gunpoint. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victims who reported that they were robbed at gunpoint. The victims stated that the suspect was holding a handgun while pointing it at the victim’s stomach. The victims gave the suspect their belongings and the suspect then left the area on foot.

Officers responded to a report regarding a family disturbance. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated that she and the suspect had an argument about going to dinner. The victim reported that the suspect became angry and threw his cellphone at her, from across the room, before walking towards her and picking her up by her arms. The victim stated she was dragged into the bedroom and thrown onto the edge of the bed which caused her to fall violently to the floor. The victim was successful in escaping and grabbed her cellphone to call the police. The suspect was located in the basement attempting to conceal himself under several cardboard boxes. The suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report regarding a battery incident. Responding officers met with the victim, who stated she observed the suspect attempting to open several car doors by pulling on their handles. The victim stated the suspect attempted to open the victim’s vehicle also. When confronted, the suspect began yelling profanities at the victim and punched the victim on her arms. The victim stated she took a photo of the suspect and the suspect fled the scene. While interviewing the victim, the suspect returned to the scene and was identified by the victim. The suspect was cited for battery.
