Warrant Arrest – Arrested

1500 Sloat Blvd
Officers responded to a report regarding a theft. Responding officers met with two other officers who were currently detaining the suspect. A computer check revealed the suspect had a felony warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.

Burglary – Arrested

700 Ulloa St
Officers responded to a report regarding a burglary. Responding officers spoke with the victims, who stated the suspect was seen running out of a house with what appeared to be a laptop. One victim also reported that she had seen the suspect hiding in a bush. As officers were searching the street, a man yelled to the officers that the suspect was fleeing on a bicycle. Officers caught, detained and arrested the suspect.

Assault – Arrested

Officers responded to a report regarding suspicious activity. Upon arrival, officers observed two male juveniles who may have been kicking a homeless male who was sleeping on the ground. One of the juveniles had a history of aggravated assault and was placed under arrest.

Warrant Arrest – Arrested

Officers responded to a report regarding a male breaking into a vehicle. Upon arrival, officers observed broken glass near the driver door and a towel covering the driver window, which appeared to be broken. Inside the vehicle, the suspect was sleeping on the passenger seat. Officers spoke with the suspect, who stated the window was already broken when he arrived and that he had the owner’s permission to sleep in the vehicle. Officers made contact with the owner, who confirmed the suspect’s claim. However, a computer check of the suspect revealed a warrant for burglary on the suspect. The suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a bank regarding an incident regarding fraud. Responding officers spoke with the bank branch manager who reported that the suspect came into the bank and tried to open a checking account with a forged driver’s license. The manager notified security and called the police; the suspect was brought back to the station to be identified and was cited.

Domestic Violence

Officers responded to a report regarding a domestic violence incident. Responding officers met with the victim who stated she and the suspect had been dating on and off. The victim stated she and the suspect had engaged in a verbal argument which escalated physically and the victim asked the suspect to leave.  The victim reported that the suspect punched her several times and choked her to an almost unconscious state but fled when the victim began throwing dining bowls at the suspect. A records check revealed four documented cases of domestic violence between the victim and the suspect. The victim was transported to the hospital.
