Shoplifting – Cited

Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter being detained at a store. Responding officers spoke to the store’s loss prevention agent and were told that they observed the suspect select multiple items of merchandise before bringing them into a dressing room. The suspect was then observed to exit the dressing room empty handed and immediately proceed to exit the store. An inspection of the dressing room revealed that it was also empty of any merchandise. Loss prevention detained the suspect and after further investigation, officers identified the suspect and cited her.

Officers were on patrol and observed a known suspect with a warrant. Officers detained the suspect and a computer check confirmed the warrant. The suspect was arrested.

Battery Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a domestic battery. Responding officers spoke to the victim, who was visibly upset, and were told that the victim was working when the suspect walked in and accused the victim of cheating in their relationship. The suspect then tried to forcibly push the victim out of the building and the victim called the police. Upon questioning, the suspect responded that he believed the victim was seeing someone else which caused him to become upset and start drinking but denied pushing the victim or placing his hands on her.  After further investigation and an interview with a witness, the suspect was arrested.

Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle that failed to make a complete stop at a posted stop sign. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that she was never issued a driver’s license. The driver was cited.

An officer was conducting routine vehicle check when a plate she ran did not match the vehicle make or description. A computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.
