Warrant Arrest – Arrested

100 Broad St
Officers from our Taraval Neighborhood Team (TNT) were on patrol and recognized a suspect, with a past history from previous contacts, who had a warrant for his arrest. Officers made contact with the suspect and a computer check confirmed the warrant.  The suspect was arrested.

Vandalism to MUNI
5:19 pm
9th Ave & Judah St
Officers responded to a report of a vandalism of a MUNI bus. The witness, a bus driver, reported that the suspect wanted to get off the bus to catch another bus, which was ready to leave. The suspect asked the witness to honk at the bus in an attempt to make it wait for him but the witness refused. This angered the suspect and he kicked both the door and windows of the bus, causing damage to them, before fleeing.

500 Capitol Ave
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that he was walking home when an unknown suspect suddenly came up to him and punched him once before kicking at him once. The victim believes that the suspect is his neighbor, as the suspect immediately fled into a house after the battery. 

Drivers License Suspended – Cited

Junipero Serra Blvd
Officers responded to a report of a traffic collision. Officers gathered information to assist in the exchange of information and determined that one party did not have proof of insurance and that the license was also suspended. After further investigation, the driver was cited.

Vehicle Violation – Driver’s License Suspended – Cited
7:45 am
Taraval St and 19th Ave
Officers observed a vehicle making a left turn onto 19th Ave from Taraval St, depsite multiple “no left turn” signs that were posted. The officers conducted a traffic stop and were told that the driver had lost his wallet and did not have his license on him. However, a computer check revealed that the license was suspended. The driver was cited.

Probation Search – Possession of Ammunition – Arrested

Officers responded to the area regarding a domestic violence related incident. Officers determined that the incident was solely a verbal argument. While on scene, the Taraval Neighborhood Team (TNT) recognized that one of the parties involved was on probation with a search condition. Officers conducted the search and located two boxes of ammunition and a metal baton, both of which were in violation of the suspect’s probation. The suspect was arrested.

19th Ave & Sloat Blvd
Officers responded to the hospital regarding a fight that had occurred at Stern Grove. Responding officers spoke to the witness, who reported that they were hanging out at Stern Grove when a known suspect came up to them and started to punch and kick the victim before immediately fleeing the location.

500 John Muir Dr
Officers responded to a report of an assault. Responding officers spoke to the victim, who reported that the suspect called earlier and asked to come over. The victim agreed and they were spending time together in the apartment when the suspect decided to look through the victim’s phone. The victim told the suspect to put her phone down and leave which angered the suspect. The victim stated that the suspect covered her mouth from behind and put enough pressure to cause her to pass out before he fled the location.
