Vehicle Violation – Driver’s License Suspended – Cited

Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle which failed to make a complete stop, behind the limit line. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license was suspended. The driver was cited.

Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle with paper plates, which are typically given to newly purchased vehicles. However, the required registration paperwork was not displayed on the vehicle’s window. The officers conducted a traffic stop to investigate and asked for the driver’s license, registration and proof of  insurance. The driver responded that he did not have a driver’s license on him but a computer check revealed that the driver was suspended and there was also a Daly City warrant for his arrest. The drivers’ vehicle was towed and he was arrested.

Officers responded to a possible fight in progress.  Responding officers spoke to the victim, who wanted to press charges against the suspect, her son.  Earlier, the victim had confronted the suspect and an argument ensued. The suspect then pushed the victim against a gate and left in a vehicle. Officers searched for the suspect but was unsuccesful. 

Later in the day, the suspect returned and tried to entered the house which prompted the victim to call the police again. While the officers were at the location and responding to the call, the suspect drove by and threw a glass bottle at the officers which shattered near them when it hit the floor. The suspect then attempted to drive away but drove into a stop sign. Officers conducted a traffic stop and detained the suspect. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of possible illegal drug use. Responding officers arrived and located the suspect matching the description given. As the officers approach, they observed the suspects rolling up something that looked suspiciously like a marijuana cigarette. The cigarette was dropped immediately when the suspects noticed the presence of the officers. Officers ran a computer check on both suspects which revealed that one had a warrant for his arrest. The same suspect also had a glass pipe commonly use to smoke methamphetamine. The suspect was arrested. The other suspect was advised and released.

Officers responded to a report of a loud verbal altercation. Responding officers spoke to the victim, who reported that she and the suspect had gotten into an argument earlier. During the argument, the suspect placed his hands over her mouth in an attempt to quiet her and wouldn’t let go until she scratched at the suspect’s face. During the struggle, the victim also reported that she fell over.  The suspect admitted that he placed his hands over the victim’s mouth when he came home after work and found that the victim was upset and yelling. However, the suspect denied harming the victim. After further investigation and an interview with a witness, the suspect was arrested.
