Domestic Violence – Arrested

Officers responded to a report regarding an incident of domestic violence.  Responding officers spoke to the victim who reported that she was asleep when the suspect came into the room, pulled the sheets off of her and accused her of taking his wallet that was next to his bed. The suspect then poked her head with his finger and the victim fearfully pushed the suspect away from her, which caused him to trip and hit his head against the door frame. The suspect recovered and angrily hit the victim with a metal curtain rod, causing redness and bruising on her thigh. Blood was observed on the door frame, where the victim stated the suspect hit his head. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a dropped 911 call. Responding officers contacted the victim, who stated an argument ensued between himself and the suspect about vacation plans. The argument escalated and the suspect angrily threw food at the victim before striking the victim on the head with a wireless phone. While trying to defend himself, the victim sustained a laceration to his knuckle. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Officers were on patrol when they observed a motor scooter failing to stop at the stop sign. Officers conducted a traffic stop and asked for the driver’s license. The driver responded that he only had a learners permit but a records check on revealed the driver did not have a motorcycle license. The driver was cited and the motor scooter was left legally parked at the scene.

Officers received a report regarding an aggressive male swinging at people on the street. Responding officers arrived and several pedestrians directed them to the suspect, who was yelling at people that were walking past him. Officers stopped and detained the suspect and observed a strong odor of alcohol on the suspect. Officers arrested the suspect and transported him to a sobering center.

Officers responded to a report regarding a possible home invasion robbery. Responding officers spoke with the victim who reported that he was home alone when there was a knock on the front door. The victim opened the door and three suspects, wearing black and ski masks, entered the house with one holding a handgun that was pointed at the victim. The victim stated that the suspects demanded that the victim reveal items of worth in the house and threatened to kill him if he didn’t. The suspects then stole multiple items and transported them out in a black duffle bag. Officers were unsuccessful in location the suspects.
