Traffic Violation – Arrested

300 Faxon Ave
Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle fail to stop and roll through a 4-way intersection controlled by stop signs. A records check on the vehicle revealed multiple outstanding warrants for the suspect. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and placed the suspect under arrest.

Domestic Violence

Officers responded to a report regarding an incident of domestic violence. Responding officers spoke to the victim, who reported that she and the suspect had a history of domestic violence incidents. The victim stated that the suspect was with a friend and intoxicated when he tried to grab the victim. The victim tried to evade the suspect but was still grabbed on her arm. Officers detained the suspect and observed that the level of intoxication necessitated a call for an ambulance.  The victim was issued an emergency protective order against the suspect. 

Expired Vehicle Registration – Cited

Plymouth Ave & Broad St
Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle parked on the sidewalk and blocking sidewalk access. A records check on the vehicle revealed that the vehicle’s registration had expired, despite displaying 2017 registration tabs. The suspect admitted that they were unaware of the false registration tabs. Officers requested a tow of the vehicle and the suspect was cited.

Winston Dr & 19th Ave
Officers responded to a report regarding an assault. Responding officers were flagged down by the victim, who admitted that she was smoking marijuana when the suspect started shouting derogatory comments at her. The victim followed the man into a mall and the man bumped into her with his shoulder. The victim left the mall and called 911. Officers were unsuccessful in locating the suspect.

Trespassing

Officers responded to a report regarding a male refusing to vacate a restricted area. Responding officers located the suspect, who was uncooperative and had to be handcuffed. The witness, a security guard at the mall, stated that the suspect had a fight with one of the mall employees prior to the incident.  Officers transported and cited the suspect at Taraval Police Station.

Officers responded to a report regarding a possible fight. Responding officers met with the mother of the victim, who expressed her concern about her daughter’s safety at school. The victim reported that she and the suspect had an argument earlier and that the suspect punched her several times in the head. Officers issued a request to the school for conflict mediation with both families.

Officers responded to a report regarding a domestic violence incident. Responding officers spoke to the victim who reported that she had been physically assaulted by her boyfriend when they got into a verbal argument. During the argument, the suspect began striking and breaking objects in the room. When the victim notified the suspect that she was going to call the police, the suspect took the phone away from her. The suspect proceeded to leave the residence, with some of the victim’s belongings, and struck the victim in the face when she attempted to block him from the door. Officers issued the victim an emergency protective order against the suspect.

Officers responded to a report regarding a battery. Responding officers spoke to the victim’s mother, who reported that her daughter was head butted and pinched on the MUNI by a classmate. The victim stated that the classmate head butted her twice and pinched her because they wanted her spot on the MUNI. Officers contacted the MUNI security and requested the video footage of the incident for further investigation.
