Warrant Arrest – Arrested

100 Cambon Dr
Officers responded to a report regarding a suspicious person; the caller believed that the person in question was possibly involved in a conflict with a grocery store owner several days ago. Responding officers located and made contact with the suspect. The suspect was identified and admitted that he was currently on probation. A records check revealed that the suspect had an active warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.

Traffic Violation – Suspended License – Cited

Winston Dr & 20th Ave
Officers were on patrol when they observe a vehicle with expired tabs. A computer query of the license plate confirmed that the tabs were expired. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and contacted the driver. When asked for his driver’s license, the driver stated he did not have a driver’s license. Officers cited the driver.

Robbery – Arrested

2000 37th Ave
Officers responded to a report regarding a break in at a high school. Responding officer spoke to the victim, a school security guard, who reported that he observed suspicious activity. As the victim approached, the suspect immediately ran towards a vehicle.  The victim attempted to take pictures of the vehicle’s license plate with his cellphone but a second suspect exited the car and grabbed the suspect’s phone and threw it on the ground before fleeing the location. Officers retrieved the vehicle’s information through DMV from the provided license plate and located the vehicle parked in a driveway and also located the two suspects. After further investigation, the two suspects were arrested.

Assault – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a stabbing. Responding officers arrived and located the victim, who had a stab wound located in the region of his ribcage. The victim was uncooperative with the investigation and was transported to SFGH for medical attention. Officers spoke with several family members who stated that the suspect was the victim’s brother and the victim was stabbed because of an argument. The suspect fled the scene before the officers arrived but officers searched and located the suspect. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.  

Brandishing

Irving St & 19th Ave
Officers responded to a report regarding a person brandishing a knife on the street. Responding officers spoke with the witness, who stated that he heard someone yelling from behind him and observed the suspect walking with a bike while holding a kitchen knife in a threatening manner. A second witness also observed the suspect and called the police. Officers were unable to locate the suspect.

Threats

1300 22nd Ave
Officers responded to a report regarding a person brandishing a knife at people on the street. Responding officer spoke with two victims who reported that the suspect approached them from behind while on a mountain bike. The victims stated that the suspect threatened to attack them with a knife but continued to ride past them on the sidewalk with his bike. Officers checked the area for surveillance and searched for the suspect but were unsuccessful.
